Thanks to its magnetic safety connection between power cord and USB-C connector, accidental drops of laptop due to sudden strain on power cord can be widely prevented. The magnetic safety mechanism disconnects safely if someone trips over the power cord or pulls sharply on the laptop. The power cord can be attached magnetically on both sides to the USB-C connector. It supports USB-C Power Delivery (USB PD Power Rules) with up to 100W (up to 20V/3.0-5.0A) charging and can be used with USB-C power adapters such as Apple USB-C Power Adapter 29W, 61W or 87W. The Magnetic Safety charging cable does not transmit data or a video signal (DP Altmode).
